Wedding Planning Tips Anyone Can Use

One of the things that made rockabilly music so great during its rise in the 1950s was the all-out, go-for-broke attitude that so many of the performers exhibited. The early performers were influenced by the two vastly different worlds of country music and rhythm and blues. While they may have taken many aspects of country music and utilized them in the look of rockabilly, they poured just as many aspects of rhythm and blues music into the attitude of their new music.

So grab yourself a spot of tea and some crumpets for our Royal News Update! The Royal newlyweds, Prince William and Kate (Catherine), the Duchess of Cambridge, wowed everyone at Wimbledon, as they were on hand to watch and cheer on fellow Brit Andy Murray beat France’s Richard Gasquet, 7-6, 6-3, 6-2. His win earns him a place in the quarterfinals. They stayed on to watch Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal’s matches, much to the spectators’ delight. Kate, dressed in all white in a Temperley London dress, looked absolutely gorgeous. E! Online reported that the dress is currently on sale for $635. I’m guessing that price will go up soon! A reconciliation may be in the works for Avril Lavigne and her ex-hubby, Deryck Whibley. The pair were spotted flirting and hugging on vacation this past week in France and got particularly handsy during a boat trip on the French Riviera. Avril was sporting a very teeny, weeny black and purple bikini and Deryck was spotted [...]

Chris Brown Once Again Shows His True Colors

Chris Brown managed to offend thousands people with just a few ignorant words this week, but it wasn’t his so-called slur that has me miffed, it’s his complete failure to apologize. This guy may be the only human being in show business who CAN’T say “there is no such thing as bad publicity.” He is a real pro at ruining his image and reputation, and then completely failing to rehabilitate it. It’s uncanny. We’ve all beaten the crap out of the Rihanna domestic violence story. Most people agree that he never really apologized, and that the only thing he really put effort into was keeping himself out of jail. Then there was the Good Morning America incident, where the singer apparently had a rage-fest, which involved throwing chairs and making threats of violence. Fast-forward a few weeks, and we have this lovely little gem of immaturity. Brown was apparently on the verge of getting a pricey parking ticket, but was able to talk his way out of it. But rather than be satisfied with that, he decided to accuse the paparazzi of setting him up by telling the parking enforcement people about his illegal parking job. In the process, he [...]

Arts and Entertainment:Music from EzineArticles.com

I decided to write this series of articles, in response to years of listening to my musician friend's regale me with tails of woe, about "Bad Sound Experiences." BSE if you will. Most often, these BSE's had a common identifiable trait (New or inexperienced sound tech) and almost all were related to on stage monitor mixes. These unfortunate experiences made playing their music un-fun and un-inspiring. Since these are the two reasons most of my friends play music... I thought I'd try to help!
